The SPSAS on Colloids will be held in the city of Campinas, which is ca. 100 km from the city of São Paulo. Activities will be held on the campus of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and the nearby campus of the Research Center for Energy and Materials (CNPEM). On Nov 2nd participants will visit the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo, in the metropolis of São Paulo.
The city of Campinas is served by an international airport, Viracopos, with direct connections to most Brazilian airports and with a few direct international flights. For those who travel through São Paulo International airport (Guarulhos, GRU), there is a shuttle service to Campinas operated by Lirabus.
Participants (students and lecturers) will be housed at the UNICAMP Guest House (CPV-FUNCAMP), within walking distance of the Institute of Chemistry. Twin rooms will be provided for the students.
During the School, participants will be provided with transportation for all of the off-campus activities.
